For a mental wellness initiative by the Government of the Northwest Territories' Department of Health and Social Services, VERGE created Mind + Spirit magazine, a branded publication intended to raise awareness of mental health services in the territory. We wrote and designed the magazine, providing clear, engaging-but-accessible content to a targeted audience. Along with a territory-wide print mail-out, VERGE executed an effective social media campaign to drive online readership. |

Since 2011, VERGE has published this hyperlocal, bimonthly magazine while creating branded events such as the EDGE Halloween Party and the Solstice Slam attended by thousands of Yellowknifers. Along with delivering engaging, authentic editorial to an ever-growing fanbase, EDGE has worked with many advertisers to create compelling advertising campaigns. Online, EDGENorth was nominated for a Canadian Online Publishing Award and publishes engaging sponsored content supported by targeted social media campaigns. Past Folk on the Rocks and the Snowking Winter Festival special issues served as high-quality editorial marketing tools for those events. |
